Hi,
I am a terrible cook, dont even know the basics. I make chicken cutlets and potatos evry night bec my DH is so picky. Tonight I want to try farfel or couscous. Does anyone have a recipe that is easy? please give exact details and measurements. thanks so much!

1 Tablespoon of oil
1 Cup of farfel
1 Cup of water
toast the cup of farfel in a small deeper pot on medium until the balls start browning
add one cup of water (boiling-or not) while the pot is off the fire. put it back on the fire, wait till it starts bubbling, add salt and pepper to taste - or not like a 1/2 tsp of salt and 1/8 tsp pepper if you want. take it off the higher flame, switch to simmer - very low low flame cover the pot, and it should be done in about 15-20 minutes, or until you no longer hear water bubbling in the pot, or see water bubbling up.
p.s let it sit off the fire covered for about 10 minutes.
