we live in a pretty old apartment that came with wallpaper already on the walls.
there are a few places where it has begun to peel off the wall, which doesn't look so nice.
(and is very tempting for little children to continue peeling!)
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to fix this?
thanks!

Mix some wheat flour and water into a very runny smooth gruel. Apply in a thin layer to the back of the paper; smooth into place. If it's really just small bits peeling, like at the seams, use dabs of white school glue, like Elmer's.
Or, buy a sack of commercial wallpaper paste in a hardware store, mix with water and apply as above. Commercial stuff usually has some sort of mildew retardant in it, but basically it's wheat flour.
