Fava beans

any ideas wht to do with them? I bought a pckg of dried fava beans.

dried fava beans--you'll need to soak overnight, then change water and boil for at least 1.5-2hrs as they tend to be a bit harder than other dry beans. Never add salt while it's cooking otherwise they end up hard. You can either cook it to somewhat mushy texture, drain water (or can be saved for soup), season with olive oil, salt, lemon juice and paprika or fresh ground pepper. Google ful/foul for other recipes.

Now I very much prefer green fava beans (we get it frozen), very nice cooked with artichoke bottoms in chicken/parve stock, with squeeze of lemon before serving.

And make sure you aren't allergic to them! I think the people who are allergic are generally of Masri and Iraqui extraction.
