I was wonsering.. when someone passes away, then all that goes back to shamayim is their neshama. but what is the difference between a neshama of a baby going back ( chas vshalom) and the neshama of an adult. . is the babys neshama like a baby mind where it is not developed and lower level then an adults mind.. or are neshamas all the same " age" in shamayim.. I really cant explain what im saying but lets say chas vshalom a baby dies , its neshama goes to shamayim but down on earth it didnt know anything, like who its grandfather was lets say, so when it goes to shamayim will it then recognize its grandfathers neshama or is it going to be a baby neshama in shamayim as well..
basiccally wat am I asking is , is a neshama inside a baby the same neshama that is inside an adult?

im sure the neshamah knows who his/her ancestors are but the neshama is probably much more pure then that of an adult. a baby has no avairos so their neshama is white

neshamos are spiritual - they have no age and don't "develop".

didnt our neshamos once belong to someone else? so how many sets of parents does each one have? for the parents who lost babies, they are supposed to meet by techiyas hamaisem. but how does that happen when each neshama has more then one set of parents?

again from kabbalonline.org:
Quote:
Resurrection of the Dead is a fundamental principle of Judaism. Since the body participated in the performance of mitzvot, it is only just that it should also share in the eternal reward for that performance.

When this particular reincarnation resurrects, it receives only those sparks that were rectified through it…
Therefore, that body too comes back to life in the time of the Resurrection of the Dead, together with those parts of the soul that were rectified during its lifetime. When this particular reincarnation resurrects, it receives only those sparks that were rectified through it. The other parts of the Nefesh return to the other bodies wherein they were rectified.

try looking at the site yourself - it's great!
