Hi I'm looking for a FUN thing to do for midwinter vacation with a group of HS girls.

We're looking for places up to 2 hours away from Brooklyn and prefer outdoors. Any links would be helpful.

Also, if a place has outdoor and indoor that's the best.

And no skiing Smile

What about snow shoeing? I haven't done it in the NY area but if you google it I'm sure there are places. You basically can hike through snow wearing these special shoes that kind of look like tennis rackets. I had a lot of fun with dh doing it.
