Why oh why?
They have heimish hechshers on so many things.
But I still wait for real CY Ring Dings.
Yodels from Drake's that are cholov yisrael,
Would make my mouth drool.
Krispy Kremes sound awesome to me,
Never having tasted them, just curiosity.
Devil dogs that are the same in taste,
Just made kosher enough, not a waste!
What about Tootsie Rolls, the real thing!
That would make me dance and sing!

Food? I thought it was some exotic shop. Or some awful roaches. Or some great bargains that are irresistible. Or something else awful. Like lice.

Just since you mentioned it, I want to put in a plug for Stern's - not only are their baked goods, well, good, but I recently met the Stern family who owns the company and they are amazing baalei chesed. Really special. I think I need to go buy some of those cookies right now to support all their wonderfulness. No joke.

Don't buy their rugelach either, or you will finish the whole box. They are amazing in every flavor.
Korns also makes the best sponge cake and marble cake, with the best taste and texture.
Also delicious hamantashen. Can't wait.

ITA.
When they first came out with these I told Mr. Stern they were evil.
The pies with all the flavors too.
I haven't had any Stern's/ Korn's in a few years. They don't make anything that isn't delicious.
Miss them! (the family and the baked goods  )
