Thanks so much to all of you for your responses/ideas!
MARION - Thanks, but caterers want to cater the full kiddush with all the fish, herring, chulent & kugel, and we're not doing any of that. I'll be ordering some kugel & baking cakes & cookies. Just need help from someone with supplies & flair for setting a pretty sweet table.
BARBARA - my shul doesn't have this rule of no homemade goodies so I'll be baking........thanks for your purim ideas.
YO'MA - if the woman you know is willing to come work in BP on a Friday & she's well priced, the, yes, I'd like her name & #.

Anyone else have any ideas for a purim-theme party favour for a bar-mitzvah?
Any recommendations for a party planner in BP to set up for a kiddush?
