I'm serving blintzes tonight, but not everyone likes them. what's a good side dish / addition?

I usually make a filling soup, like mushroom barley, and then serve the blintzes with salad.

I'm making a blintz loaf & had the same question. Then I found 1/2 a lasagna from last week in the freezer. They don't necessarily go together, but so what?
