So my son, has decided... he wants to have his bar mitzvah party on a boat, we found one that is not so expensive... When you consider having it at a nice restaurant is 6,000 +

Renting the boat for 3 hours is 3,000, then we can buy food like from a chinese restaurant.. I will make tons of desserts...

The issue is how to entertain about 20-30 boys depending on who shows up, and 40 adults.. Adults can just enjoy the ride...

Any suggestions??

why do you need entertainment? get a musician or a DJ and the boys can dance. or just socialise.

if there are a lot of younger kids you can hire a balloon artist or something but for 13 year olds that is not necessary.

this is a kid that goes to a mixed school, so there will be boys and girls... This was not what I was comfortable with, but he's my stepson and that is where he's holding.. So I do not really want a DJ, and have boys and girls dancing... got it??

My cousin's bat mitzva was on a boat. The adults ate and socialized while the girls did a crafts project (I think it was canvas tote bags which they painted and filled with items that my cousin and some close friends later delivered to a nursing home. Basically...same activity that they would have done on land!
