I like to tinker with things..
My van, is 10 years old so anything that needs to be fixed is like $50 and up just to get someone to look at it!
Now, when I got my oil changed, the guy was nice enough to point out a problem with something under my van and told me it justneeds two bolts put in. Most places want to charge me to look at it..
But I laid down when we got home and looked under the van. It looks very simple to fix, just add two bolts. My kids thought it was hysterical that I was laying under the van tinkering..
Someone told me it's not appropriate for a woman to be doing such thiings in a skirt, especially anice frum woman. crazy no?

I hope you put the bolts in.
How "appropriate" is for a frum woman to be standing next to her stuck car on the road?
Just do it. Once its done, its done. Make sure your skirt covers your knees while you're lying on the floor putting in the bolts!

Parking lot... no garage for me, apartment life.. Plus saves me money

I say go for it.. I'm the type of woman that does these things. I defintly tinker under the hood of my car. If I didn't do that my car would have died a long time ago. Why is it more tsnuis for a single mother to shell out money she doesn't have? come on..ignore the people who told told you that garbage. Good for you for putting those little bolts in. Now all you need is to wash your hands, clean your skirt and pat yourself on the back.
