I'm making a dairy meal for DH's birthday tomorrow. I was planning on using my friends recipes that she says is delicious, but I just found out that she's away!

So I need DELICIOUS recipes for a dairy pasta dish and a veggie wrap ASAP. The dairy pasta dish in particular should be very good. I have the kosher pallete, kosher by design, and spice and spirit, so if you know of something terrific from those recipe books, can you just refer me to the recipe?

Thanks!

Well, I know I can look stuff up, but I want to know if anyone knows of a recipe that has been tried and proven to be yummy (I don't want to experiment with a recipe now).

But I'll look into those wrap recipes, thanx.

I think the pasta dishes are more difficult to figure out if it will be really good, so I'd just like suggestionns.

I have a great pasta salad recipe, but it is pareve. EVERY time that I serve this on Shabbos, I get a call later in the week, asking for the recipe! The only adjustment that I make, is that I find the veggie need a LOT longer to broil than it says. Just do them until they are roasted looking, but not burnt! I also double the recipe.
Here it is...

Sunset Patio Pasta

Ingredients:
8 ounces penne pasta
4 to 5 cups assorted vegetable pieces (such as zucchini, yellow squash, bell pepper, mushrooms and onions)
4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
3 teaspoons McCormick® Grill Mates® Montreal Chicken Seasoning , divided
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
2. Toss vegetables with 1 tablespoon oil and 1 teaspoon Chicken Seasoning. Place vegetables in grill basket or thread onto skewers. Grill over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until tender, turning frequently.
3. Mix balsamic vinegar, remaining 3 tablespoons oil and remaining 2 teaspoons Chicken Seasoning in large bowl. Add cooked pasta and vegetables; toss well. Serve warm or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Thanx for your help.

At this point I don't need more suggestions since I have to go shopping already! (I know, I was really last minute in asking).

5boysMom, I was specifically looking for something dairy. However, I definitely want to try your pasta salad a different time. Dh has been begging for pasta salad (which I don't like, so never make) so maybe I'll promise him a pasta salad as a little "gift". I'll PM you if I have any questions about the recipe.

Even though you said you went shopping already:

Milchig wraps:

spread cream cheese on wrap
then lettuce
then put avocado, tomato, pepper slices, something creamy such as dill dip or salad dressing, garlic powder, and something hot such as chili sauce or that Israeli thing (I forgot what it's called)
then wrap
