I absolutely love rochelle krich's books. every single dingle one of them. I read them all. I wish she had more books out. dream house was one of her weaker books. The Jesse Drake series is better than the MOlly Blume series. Her latest book, Now You See Me, was excellent, and Grave Endings was also awesome. her best piece of work EVER was Fertile Ground.

Would you say they are 'clean'?

Are they meant to be read in order?

Not all her books are part of a series, so not all books have to be read in order. The series ones are better if read in order IIRC.

Fertile Ground is one of her best ones!...

They are clean in that there are no explicit scenes. I wouldnt give it to kids to read, though - kissing, taharas hamishpacha, etc, mentioned widely throughout.

Would you let your teenaged daughter read them? I prefer not to have books in the house that I wouldn't want my teenagers to pick up.

Is the movie Dream House based on this book? The previews look too scary, I would prefer to read it though.

Krich's gritty characters use gritty language, so if that bothers you I do not advise letting your teens read them.

Which ones are part of a series?

No, Dream House isnt based on this.
Krich's books are NOT the clean-judaica type books. They are 'clean' secular books. but there are adult themes in them. I certainly wouldnt let any teens read them. but if your teens read library books this is probably on par with teenage library books, cleanliness wise.
