Was it good? I read an excerpt, but will read more next week when my dh brings it home for me. She kind of interviewed my mother for it.

It was wonderful. I would have loved to have met Mrs. Y, a"H. Though I'm sure it only begins to scratch the surface.

I'm a quilter so it's nice to read about other people with the same interest. I would have loved to meet Mrs. Y in her heyday!

Thank you everyone, it's really nice to hear all these things. I don't know which chuppa quilt is in the article, but she made three. I'll try to post a picture.

Thanks, but my sil already did and I can't read it. My dh is in E"Y now and going to be in NY and I asked my sister to please give him a copy to bring home.

I thought it was a lovely article. I didn't see the OP that you posted before shabbos, but as I was reading through the article I found myself wondering if this was indeed about your mother a'h, as I remembered in the past you had posted that she quilted.

I also found the snippets of family history interesting.

I'm a bit thick. I thought that your mother was a friend or someone else interviewed for the article, not the subject herself. I still stand behind everything I said ;-)

This one was for my sister who got married 9 months ago. It's really longer, but my sister and her dh are in the picture and I don't want to post them.

This one was for my sister who got married over 2 years ago. We have a picture as the chuppa, but this is clearer.

This is from my niece's wedding. It was less than 2 years ago. The picture is taken by the wedding, as the chuppa.
