With a big tip of the hat to PinkFridge, who should have been the one to start this thread... Party

and spinning off from all those "immediate reactions" posts about thread titles being a great name for a band...

here's a thread just for that!

And to make it even more fun, try to name a song or two that would be the band's big hits. And, why not? It's Adar, have a little extra fun - go to Vinyl Record Generator and make a record for the band, too.

Here's an example from my recent post to immediate reactions:

Tip o' the hat #2 to candyheart for the song title "She's Got Legumes"! Smile Oh and she's also the one who realized that Chickpea Burgers would be a great name for a band. Party

(The Vinyl Record Generator thing even has a convenient button to upload directly to ImageShack, so you can do that and just select the "forum link" to share - just paste that here and there you have it.)

My friend's husband's band is actually called Three Day Yom Tov! Smile It's more folksy (and kind of a joke) than grungy though. Smile

I always wanted to start a band called "Rock" Echad...

Does Three Day Yom Tov have anything recorded or online anywhere? Now I'm curious.

Rock Echad could be big - better copyright that.

Fun, huh? Smile

You can even change the colors on the record labels if you really want to procrastinate...

Wow, they're singing one of my favorite songs -- "I'd Like to Visit the Moon" from Sesame Street! It's such a sweet song, and it lends itself well to an indie-style acoustic cover.

Cool!

LOVE the records so far. Smile

Isn't it fun to see your wacky ideas on an actual record?

Thanks everyone for making me laugh today - I really need it!

OK, strictly this doesn't belong here but I think the olam might appreciate it:
But wouldn't "Will Hamantashen Ever Look the Same?" make a great title for a Barry Manilow song?

Conscious Sedation [at the dentist]

Suggested play list: Beatles covers, of course. I'm Only Sleeping and Golden Slumbers.
