I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a yummy dessert using frozen blueberries? Something I can whip up pretty quickly, maybe involving the food processor? Can I make a homemade sorbet or something? It's just us tonight (no guests) so it doesn't have to be anything too fancy.
THANKS!

Blueberry cobbler works well with frozen berries, and tastes great warm.
I use the recipe from a Jane Brody cookbook (no eggs, and I sub rice or soy milk for the milk and oil for the margarine). And it only takes about 2 mins to mix by hand and 30 mins to bake. Sorry, don't have it to hand right now, but maybe someone else has it or a similar one?

Thanks Imma 2+2. I guess I can try to find a similar recipe online. I don't have rice/soy milk on hand right now, though... Also, does it require a crust? Kinda lacking in that department, too...
Any other ideas? Anyone?

Cobbler is just a cross between pudding and cake - a loose cake batter with the blueberries sprinkled on top.
You could just make a plain cake recipe and sprinkle the blueberries on top.

Actually, a cobbler, a cunch, pie and a betty are all different things. You must not be from the South.

Not only am I not from The South - I'm not even from the US (but I did live there for a few years, although the furthest south I lived was Maryland!).
Anyway, for the sake of using the blueberries quickly, I'd still sprinkle them on any plain cake recipe, even though we love cobbler the best!
