I have a Black & Decker food processor and it has served me well for 5.5 yrs. A few wks ago, the bowl fell and cracked, making it unusable. I've been using my neighbor's food processor the past few wks. When I called Black & Decker to order the new bowl, they quoted me a price of $15. My question is, how long does a motor in a food processor last? Maybe I should just buy a new food processor? I see Walmart sells a Black & Decker one for abt $25. But very good ones are quoted at $50-60. Please let me know your opinion. Thanks!

check the size on the walmart Black and decker you've quoted.
IF the size is the same as yours- just go buy a new one as you'll be charged for shipping ontop of the $15 charge for new bowl.
