Almond Date Smoothie

Anyone heard of Mitz Uri in Geula? So I went there the other day and got their date almond milk slushy. It was sooo good so I came home and tried to make it myself. Tastes really fresh and no sugar. So its a bit less sweet than the mitz uri one, but I like it that way.
I dont have measurements, but play around with it.
a handful or two of ice
pitted and halved dates, about 5 but add more if you want it sweeter.
shake in some almonds, I used slivered with peel
pour milk over the top
blend!
adjust to taste

I couldn't sleep around 5am, so I was browsing imamother, and saw this post. So I made it this morning - delicious! Thanks!

The only issue was, when I finished the smoothie, I saw that there were still thick pieces of dates and almonds at the bottom of the blender. Maybe my blender isn't that strong anymore.

I also had some chunks, I think if you pulse the blender on and off it should help with that. But I do prefer to taste some chunks of almonds and dates, its not really meant to be smooth.
