Is everything close by or do you need to drive everywhere? Wow it sounds really cheap and a slow way of living and not the face paced life of the East Coast not to mention how cheap housing and insurance are! We should make a bungalow colony there in the summers. I'm sure it's cheaper than going to the Catskills! LOL!

There's definitely a kosher grocery store (owned or managed I believe by a son of R' Sholom Rubashkin -- I think his name is Meir Simcha Rubashkin). They carry Lamer's cholov yisroel milk (same as Chicago) and from what I"ve heard a good variety of products.

Dd and I will be in Postville (where DH is working), and I'm wondering if any mothers out there want to meet up. We'll be staying at the Pines Hotel, so any help with meals would be greatly appreciated!
PM me if you don't want the general board to know where you live.
