I have a gf recipe I'd like to try, not because I need it to be gf but because it's a healthier brownie recipe. It calls for nut butter. Can I use peanut butter or does that mean other kinds of nut butter?

it means any nut butter. peanut butter will give off a distinct taste, however. almond and cashew butter are sweeter and more likely to blend with the other flavors. peanut butter brownies should be delicious, though. as far as consistency, they're all the same.
