Is this a reliable hechsher? I saw it for the first time on something I wanted to buy and was unsure.

I think its vaad hoeir from st. louis. CRC in chicago recommends it (so does my Rov who doesn't necessarily hold by crc)

Yes, it's the va'ad hoeir of st. louis. It's considered reliable here .

St. Louis. A lot of the Wilton (cake) products have it, especially the food colourings. I always wondered about that myself.
