I am hoping to buy a dressy organza/taffeta hat. Can anyone recommend a store in Passaic, Teaneck or Monsey with a nice selection?

There is a stocking store in Monsey that has a selection of hats. It is in the same strip as Monsey Glatt. Dont know the name, sorry.

I fidn that in the US, there is an excellent selection of hats in regular department stores in areas with a large African-American population, as fancy hats are very popular in African-American churches. Now, with Easter coming up, there should be a good variety of hats for sale.

Cedar lane in Teaneck. Across from Butterflake, same side of street as the pizza store has a good hat store. I think it's called My Fair Lady and this is the website: http://www.hatagories.com/

Love your username btw! I've read the first three Betsy and Tacy books with my kids...not sure at what point the books are too "mature" for 6 - 8 year olds.
