Would you wear suede shoes in the summer

I know this should be my biggest problem.... And this may sound stupid and trivial, but I found a great pair of shoes online for Yom Tov , exactly what I was looking for, only problem is they only have suede left! Is it a fashion faux pas to wear it in the summer? Haven't bought it yet

Okay, so I totally officially don't wear suede shoes in the summer but then I see all these shoes that are ONLY in summer colors, in suede!

so I'm thinking I must be wrong and it's okay to wear suede in the summer? Because I certainly would not wear light pink suede shoes in the winter (because I consider those light colors not appropriate for the winter. . . )

there are no rules anymore; anything goes! me personally; if they are a dark color, I would only wear them in the spring but not the summer

I have black strappy open toe shabbos shoes which are a mix of suede and patent.
My sil almost shot me when she saw me wearing something with suede in mid summer. I asked her if she wants me to wear open toe in the snow?!

Honestly? black suede boots I wouldn't wear in the summer nor beige open toe flats in the winter but other than that anything goes. Whatever pleases you. YOu can make your own fashion.

And what's with all those people wearing boots during the summer? I think suede is fine, if those shoes are in the summer collection, there are meant to be worn during summer. Fashion changes.

Ok, I guess I have my answer, these shoes are definitely winter shoes...I just really liked them, and I have a problem wearing pumps without a strap, so I'm limited.....but thank you everyone for your advice!
