Quick question I brought some strawberries from Isreal today. Do I need to do anything, like taking some away. If so how much do I take and do I say anything, etc...

Did you get them in a store with a hechsher? If so, they already took trumos and maaseros.

But, you do need either to soak them in soapy water or brush them under running water with a pastry brush in order to get off bugs.

No, how do I do it, because if you do not tell me you will not be having strawberries on the fruit platter tomorrow night. Wink

No the store that I got them from was a non Jewish one.

I think u have to be a paid up member of the group to use their loshon.

But if you bring them round here and give them all to me, then I'll do it for you!

I honestly have no idea! I've never done it myself.

Maybe google it?

Or better - ask a Rabbi!
