I made cabbage soup for Shabbos, but I bought a HUGE cabbage and still have a ton left over.
Does anyone have a recipe for cabbage, maybe with sauteed onions? A warm recipe is fine too. Please! I dont want to throw it away and I hate cole slaw.

shred the cabage, it should be thing stips, add some olive oil, salt, pepper, a good amount of lemon juice so it comes out tangy. mix and let it sit a bit. it tasted really really good.

Sautéed cabbage freezes very well, first shred it and freeze it and then see what you want to do with it. It’s yummy with noodles, rice, stir fried vegetables, shtrudel (my favorite!), or egg rolls!

Shred it, sautee it in a bit of oil for 5 minutes, add a bit of sherry (or wine), sugar & salt. Simmer for 5 minutes. Use wonton wrappers (in the freezer section of the grocery store) & make eggrolls. I just made mini ones for Shabbos.
