Am I the only one very disappointed with some Martha Stewart website (marthastewart.com) recipes?
Some recipes are out of this world and some (like a cake I tried that was drastically too dry to even risk putting in the oven, I had to add lots of liquid).
But some are sensational and easy to follow.

I've made 1 choc cake from her that was heavenly & came out just like hers. I watched her make it on a DVD.

Tonight I tried apple pie cake (there are two of them, the link of the one I chose is below). It was very easy to put together. I halved the recipe and made it in a 9" low pan. I had 2 minor complaints:
1- I felt that the filling could have used some sugar.
2- When served right out of the oven, it was yummy, but fell apart.
Anyhow, it's all gone. Not a bit of waste, about two hours after I started to make it .

I forgot to mention, I used slightly less of the measurement of oil, instead of the butter/margarine that was stated.

Since then I've made some really delicious things from her website, although I can't remember what I got there. I mentioned blueberry muffins from M.S., on another thread.
