My 14 month old is teething and has been waking up at night for weeks. The past week has been the worst, she's getting up about 5 times a night. We're both exhausted and have terrible colds because of it. Is there anything I can give her just for a night or two to help her sleep for a few hours straight?
I've tried Tylenol and Orajel but I'm thinking in terms of a sleep aid. My body cannot handle another night of getting up every 2 hours. I'm afraid to go to sleep tonight only to be woken up so many times.
Please help!

Try rubbing some children's Benadryl or schnapps on her gums. I've always used that instead of oragel and it works like magic.

Do these have long lasting effects? What about giving her a small dose of Benadryl? Does that work for sleeping? Why would it work on gums?
I'd try the schnapps but we dont have any!
