Today it's freezing, so I put a turtleneck under a sweater, and then my shirt was way too tight (surprising b/c I wear a small and am so flatchested).
I know we started a "what are you wearing" cold weather thread, but maybe we could discuss, what you wear to the office that's professional looking, so you don't freeze!

I used to work in an office. I used to wear a reg outfit or suit. If it was cold I had a vest sweater and I put that on.

A cardigan, v-neck sweater with a t-shirt/sleeveless t-shirt, t-shirt material turtle neck underneath. Keeps you warm, but isn't bulky. Also, I buy sweaters slightly bigger knowing that I will put another layer underneath.

I wear my regular long sleeved shirts and usually wear undershirts or tank tops, tight ones, so that they hug the body, under my clothing. and if I am still cold, I usually bring a scarf or a shawl to keep me warm (and drink cocoa and tea:>)

I wear a lightweight and very warm, undershirt, but then again, I'm not in NY. I'm in CA where the temperature is going up to 73* today!!!
I have a thermal undershirt and a lighter weight one, both of which give me good warmth. I think if my warmth is next to my body, I don't get so cold. I also hate jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, etc, they're bulky and make it hard to move.

Today, I've got tights, long flat-soled boots, warm socks over the tights, a grey suit, and a 3/4 sleeve very lightweight turtleneck sweater under the suit jacket. The turtleneck is comfy cotton - it keeps me warm without getting itchy or overheated or bulky, and I can remove the suit jacket if I get warm.
Yesterday I had to help with the drop-off program at dds' school, which meant standing outside for half an hour. I had a down-filled jacket, ear warmer, gloves, and leggings over my tights and under the skirt. I just slipped off the leggings when I got to the office.
