firefox won't open!

I've been using firefox normally all morning, but it suddenly decided not to open anymore- clicking on the toolbar icon does nothing, clicking on website links (which should open it automatically) does nothing, etc..
please help me get it back!
This happened last week with a totally different program- it just refused to open no matter what I did.
(btw, when I click "firefox" does come up in my processes list, but not in applications, and the window doesnt show..)

This is obviously not a software issue. Your computer is either very full and needs a good cleaning, OR you have spy ware. Can you tell us how much space your computer still has? Here’s how:

Double click on the My Computer Icon  Right click on the C – local disk drive, and choose properties. Look at the pie chart. Tell me the space and the used numbers please.
