How do I whiten a table cloth that is not totallywwhite? It has colorful flowers on it

launder with oxygen bleach, which is milder than chlorine bleach. or use a detregent with optical whiteners (read the ingredients). Or use bluing in the final rinse. If the fabric has greyed from being washed with colored fabrics, use RIT Color remover. Test first on an inconspicuous portion to make sure it won't change the color of the flowers. If the flowers are colorfast you should have no problem. You'll know if the flowers aren't colorfast--they will have bled when washed.

Soak it in oxiclean dissolved in boiling water from the kettle.
