How do I make it so it does not automatically open and sign me in when I turn on my computer?
And, how can I make it so I automatically have a certain status when I sign in? (I don't want to start out as Online, because even if I change it immediately someone has already seen that I'm on line!!)

there should be an option sighn in invisible when u log in

its either on the sign in screen or the options. I have mine set to be manually logged in. Also, if you don't save your password, it can't log in until you give it permission.

go to MSN Messenger
go to tools
go to options
go to general
uncheck boxes under sign in
