Can someone tell me the postal code for Rav Ashi street in Jerusalem?
(I believe it's in Gonen/Katamonim?)

(I believe it's in Gonen/Katamonim?) | You dont need postal codes. As long as the address is correct, it will get there. Many people dont know postal codes and send mail without them and the letters get to their destination just fine.

Yes, it seems to be impossible to figure out zip codes in Jerusalem!
I know it's not necessary fr mail, but I do find it a problem when I try to register on some websites.

I agree with Shabbat but if you want the postal code you can get if from the Reshut Hadoar - but only on their Hebrew site, not on the English.
You would need to enter the complete address - some streets have more than one postal code.

Thanks but my system doesn't seem to be supporting Hebrew.
I was given the postal code 930904 but the digits seem too long versus other addresses I have.
So the posts still get delivered without postal codes? That's good to know.

They recently made the zip codes longer, from 5 digits to 7 digits, so the code you have doesn't look too long at all (but it would if comparing it to the older 5 digit zip codes)

If her code is the new one then it's a digit short.

Are you sure that is the right street name? I have something that gives zip codes and maps and stuff but I can't find that street.

you need the house number to use that site, I tried it for you but without the house number it won't work.

When I have to fill in a zip code, I use 00000 and never had any issues.

Thanks to the link above and some searching around, I found the link to look up the 7-digit code for a specific address:
