any thought anyone?
my 4 yr old son had a strange allergic reaction to soemthing while in school.
he was eating potato chips, a cookie with almonds in it and canned peaches shortly before the teachers sent him home saying he is sick.
I put a warm cloth on his eyes, because they were red and puffy, and it got worse. I called the doctor who hsaid it sounds like an allergy.
I gave him benadryla nd it went away.
we took him to allergy testing and EVERYTHING came out negative. tree nuts, peaches, everything. (using the scratch testing)
so he said keep him off nuts and do a blood test.
today he once agian had a reaction, after he ate a popsicle.
I will check the box tomorrow to see what the ingrediants are- (he had the popsicle in school) but unless it is manufactred in a plant that has nuts in it, what can this be from?
do I really nede to do the blood test?
any ideas?
am I just getting into a rut of more doctors and more doctors?

Maybe food colouring? Same colour in peaches and orange popsicle? Was he tested for latex? Could the teachers be wearing latex gloves when they prepare snacks?

Just some thoughts from a fellow sufferer of strange allergies!

Let me know what you discover!
