I'm looking to purchase a short, naturally wavy short wig (such as beach wave look) for casual everyday wear. I'd love an easy maintenance wig I can wash and style myself as I like to wash it frequently in the summer. What type of bangs go with the wavy look? Any advice on brands, cut, or maintenance tips would be much appreciated. I'd love to spend under $1000. Photos would be great too. Thanks!

I'm still figuring out the whole hair type/quality thing myself- but regarding this style- I think this is a beautiful, fresh and summery. it's actually a Jon Renau synthetic wig- so you know its possible to achieve with a wig, and not just impossible hair dreams

Found the link to the wig in question:

Not cheap for SYNTHETIC, over $400.

They're actually having a flash sale 25% with promo code FLASH until midnight.

But this wig is synthetic- I was assuming you were looking for a human hair wig?

I see you got there before me!

I think this one is so expensive because it's hand-tied as well as heat-defiant synthetic (you can style it with heat just as you would hair...) but it is still pricey for a synthetic...

Here it is

This model is called Julianne and it is by Renau. It comes in many colors.

It is rather expensive for synthetic. I can't tell if it is human hair or synthetic by the listing. It isn't that long and might be shorter on you than on the model. It would be chin length on some people. Use a tape-measure on yourself to see where it will come on you.

This one is beachy too, and also expensive.

Milano.

I never saw it on anyone in real life but I think it looks pretty on the model.

I have a Bella wig in a similar style- I think the 10" one runs around $1000... It looks great a few days after it has been curled- when the curls have loosened into that beachy wavy look... Only problem I have with that wig is that if it gets wet or whatever the curls some out completely and it just looks frumpy...
