With a grocery list in hand, if you were to go to KRM, Friedman's, Goldbergs, Landaus (probably the biggest supermarkets in Brooklyn)where would you get more for your money for the identical items?
Please add opinions.

I always found landaus to be more expensive. I only ever went there for emergencies.

I always felt that Landaus was more expensive. Why do some people swear by it then?

Landau's is for sure the most expensive, but if you need something that is not so typical, they would be the best place to go. For a regular shopping, though, I would net suggest going there.

KRM and Friedman's both have lower prices on many/most items that other supermarkets and grocery stores
Landaus and Goldbergs are expensive. Goldbergs has sales but you have to buy $10 of non-sale items too. Why do people shop in these two stores? They might live nearby. They're both big stores that are pleasant to shop in.

I do KRM for most of my weekly order and Landaus for all the rest. I also by the meats in Landaus.

If I lived in Bklyn I'd shop at Moishe's-- their prices are great, and their Shabbos special is cheap and amazing!

I fax my order in to KRM every Wednesday, and it saves me an arm, a leg, and a brain transplant every week! Since I started doing that 2 years ago, we can actually ‘catch up’ until the end of the month instead of worrying how we will pay the grocery bill around the corner! Because I work, it’s a luxury to go down and put together the order myself, but it’s worth it when I can do it because you feel the difference. I pick up nicer and new things and a variety is always a welcome change.

Tip: You can make your $10 non-sale purchase at Goldbergs with chicken, which is almost or as cheap as KRM. Their Shabbos special is also great!

From experience, I always liked KDS on Coney the best. I found their prices were reasonable...
