I know alot of people that don't wear nail polish on Pesach, but I would ask a Rav if the nail polish is chametz or not.

There are opinions that what is used for sika (annointing) has the same halochos as food - including soap, shampoo, make-up, perfume etc even if it is not fitting for a dog to eat. I don't know if nail polish is included.

I would imagine that the various toxic warning labels on the various nail products would be a good clue that wearing nailpolish on Pesach isn't a problem.

if you are going before Pesach to have a manicure, the only thing I would see a problem is the polish, which will be on your nails during Pesach. The remover, moisturizer is long gone by the time Pesach comes around.

Don't forget to rewash every article of clothing that you have in kosher l'Pesach laundry detergent just in case there may be some chometz residue from the other soap.
Sorry but I think this topic is a bit much, but, to each their own.

Truth be told, with so much cooking and washing, the month of Pesach I never wore nail polsih.
Then it became the week of Pesach.
I see in the OU guide that nail polish and removr are okay - and I have gloves and a dishwasher -
So I suppose I will be manicuring as usual, even though I spent many years NOT.
