If I were to come into Brooklyn (probably Flatbush, but would go into Boro Park too) for the day on Tuesday:
1) would the frum clothing stores be open?
2) What are recommendations for restaurants: one milchig and one fleishig? Not too expensive but good food.
3) Where is a good place I could pick up prepared foods to bring home (for yom tov?)
TIA I know that's a lot of questions!!

Most won't but you may find 1 or 2 that are.

Milchig - any pizza store. Many have more than just pizza. 2 that come to mind are Palace Cafe on Nostrand ave between L and M and Pizza World on Coney between J and K.
Fleishig- there are many but my favorite that's not too pricey is Essen on Coney right off J.

I am not a big buyer of take out but I hear alot about Pomegranate on Coney and L.
There's also a decent Meal Mart on avenue M between east 19 and Ocean Avenue.

I listed a tiny fraction of what's available in flatbush. There are loads more food establishments for eat in and take out.

TIA I know that's a lot of questions!!
