so yesterday my ds brought home some pants to sew for other people ... I felt really bad while he's working on their stuff that he doesn't have his own new stuff to hem as well ...

Don't feel bad Green, my ds just emailed that the KGB tried to arrest him and his friends for singing in red square!

Nothing to do with pants but something to do about feeling bad for the kid. My son also didn't get his luggage for a few days.

I applaud your son! He’s using his youthful energy to stay afloat and make it in this world. You should be proud of him! I just had it out with my 9 yr old dd. It’s hot today so she schlepped out a summer outfit from her closet and it’s totally above her knee. I told her she cannot wear her things form last year, I haven’t altered them yet, didn’t get around to it. so I told her, you put it on anyway!!!!!!!!!!! Fine, then after breakfast, you can daven, and then you can rip open all the hems. We will then wash and iron them and see what needs to be hemmed up a bit and what not… she accepted it after thinking about it for like 20 minutes. I believe in their physical input, to get things rolling.
