I grew up playing and singing Broadway show tunes, which was a terrific outlet for me and I miss it immensely. I would really like to play and sing heimishe music now, but I don't play by ear. Does anyone know where I can find music notes for BOTH hands for heimishe music? Can be children's music, anything. Something the whole family can enjoy together around the piano. Also, I would love to have music to sing to---anyone know any good female heimishe artists that have recorded?

As for female singers, try looking for malky giniger, chanale (maybe an a at the end), nechama cohen. Many of their songs are in english too which may help with the broadway style transition...

If I recall correctly they used to have it. I don't see it now. Try calling them 1877-GET-MUSIC or (718) 438-7322
