My 11 year old son was complaining last week his throat hurts. Took culture Tuesday negative. My Friday was still hurting took another culture again negative. He did get low grade fever Friday afternoon. Today he felt better but around 10 pm he broke out in hives and bh I just bought new bottle of benedryl few weeks ago which helped. I'm wondering if it cud still b he does have strep? Any advice ? I need to go again to dr?
