Two of my kids had Lyme disease but didn't get bullseye but their joint was swollen but didn't hurt. They were put on antibiotics for three weeks and then they were fine.
B"h you caught it early.

I removed a tick from my DD. A short time later she had trouble walking. A blood test was inconclusive. The dr treated it with antibiotics for more than 10 days ( I cant remember how long) Within 3 days my DD was running around again.

Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

OP here,
thanks for your replies.
those of you who gave antibiotics, do you remember what you gave?
I'm just hearing conflicting things from my pharmacist and I can't call the dr. till the morn.

sourstix- It was from my NJ backyard. there are some deer around here occasionally. I pulled the tick off as soon as I saw it, and 7 days later discovered the rash around the location.

A variety of antibiotics are considered appropriate for Lyme Disease treatment. I'm sure that your doctor knows which are most appropriate for your child.
