That's good to know -- I'm never sure which of the kosher brands is better. I did buy Gefen's Pizza Sauce recently for my kids and they said it was very good.

Ra mom, your recipe is for just one box of pasta? Sounds like it can be for two boxes. Wanted to make it tonight. Sounds delicious!

My family doesn't like cottage cheese, but I always make my baked ziti with a mix of cottage cheese, shredded cheese and gevinah levana. I add spices like oregeno and also throw an egg in there before its baked. They love it.

Sounds delicious! | It's Quick & Kosher's recipe and it really is delicious. Yes, just one box of pasta. Uses lots of sauce and cheeses and makes it super tasty and super creamy.

What size pan do you use?

This recipe is originally from abmom. I tweaked it a drop. It's SUPER easy and delicious.
1 pk penne or zit pasta. (I use Goldbaum's GF rice pasta) very tasty and more filling)
1 jar gefen tomato basil pasta sauce. Very tasty.
1/2 jar water (Use emptied jar) approximately
2/3 jar milk approximately
1-2 T sugar
3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. Or cottage cheese. Or you can do have and half.
Preheat oven to 350
Mix sauce, water, milk, sugar & cheese.
Add RAW pasta. Mix well - the Sauce should go inside the pasta. Sauce should cover all of the pasta, if . It doesnt add a little milk.
sprinkle a little more cheese.
Cover and seal tightly.
Bake for 1.5 hours
Enjoy!

I checked out the recipe out of curiosity (who can resist opening a thread about baked ziti??) and it's the exact same as the recipe passed down to me from my mother who wasn't much of a cooker, but always made an amazing baked ziti. I knew she was onto something! and now I'm craving it majorly...

I make one very similar to Tzutzie's
1 16 oz box of pasta
1 jar marinara (I like Trader Joes brand)
1 empty marinara jar filled with water
about 8 oz of shredded cheese (can use more if you like it cheesier)
Mix marinara, water and cheese in a bowl. Pour over RAW pasta in a 9x13 pan
Bake at 350 for one hour, covered
