My teen got a job as a life guard , they said they will do a background check.
back up check in AL"BANY>
I never heard of this for a teenager.What do they look up
my teen got the job on the spot.

I think when people are put in charge of groups of children there is always a backround check to make sure there are no priors of child abuse.
If she is really young then it might be a way to put her off, I am not sure.

teens do get into trouble ... they probably want to make sure her records are all fine ... but I too never heard of it cause even if one has an incident they ususally expunge the records under 18 ... I would ask ...
