How much to pay for a full day of help?

I temporarily have live in help while I'm on bed rest. She is Catholic, so taking off Xmas eve and day, and since I cannot be without help, I am looking for someone to fill those days. I've had a few inquiries but I'm not sure how much to offer. I imagine it would be a little more than the daily rate for the live in, but I am having them come for 12 hours each day. What would be the going rate in NY? Thanks.

About $110 a day. But she's living in, and as I understand, live-in gets less than you would pay for someone coming in for the day.

About $150 or more. Most people take at least $12 an hour.

I guess u pay the live in by the week?this sub ull have to pay by the hour. Is it an aid/ cleaning lady/ babysitter type of person? $10 to $12 an hour minimum. And I'd probably add a tip.
