We will iy'h be going to a wedding in ottawa in a few weeks. I was wondering if anyone knew of fun things to do with the kids in the area (it is a couple of hours from Montreal) and we will have a car.
It can't be too far away since we will have sheva brochos at night.

Ottawa is Canada's capital...there's no shortage of things to do!
First of all, before they close it, take a trip out to Smith's Falls (45 minute drive) to take a tour of the Hershey's factory.
There's also the parliament buildings & peace tower, changing of the guard, Museum of Civilization (in Hull, across the Quebec border), War Museum, Byward Market, Royal Canadian Mint & Sparks Street Mall (basically like the midrachov!), Currency Museum...

Since we keep chalav yisrael, do you think the hershey's factory would be fun? or is most of the fun eating the chocolate?
Which things would the kids enjoy (ages 3 - 7)?

I don't know what to do in Ottawa but I know that it was voted the top #1 of all places to live in Canada. Just thought I'd share that for what it's worth, which is probably not too much.
