My kids are still jumping from bed to bed at 8:45pm.
Any ideas how to get them to actually lay down and go to sleep.
Threats and treats dont work.

How do they usually fall asleep?
How old are they?
How many in one room?

They are 5 and 3.
They usually go from bed to bed. the 3 year old always want to sleep together with the 5 year old but they bother each other. So the 5 year old changes beds and the 3 year old follows. Until the 3 year old gives and is so tired (9:30) that they give up and fall asleep.

Sorry no suggestions.
My ds (age 3) will sit in bed with his eyes open, either calling to me or just laying there, for just about an hour (sometimes more) every night. My husband and I high five each other on those rare occassions when the kid actually goes to sleep immediately--then we know he is really pooped!
