When I would drive regularly from Boro Park to Crown Heights, I'd pass a certain city bus stop where lots of people from my neighborhood wait to transfer to the local bus. I often stopped to offer rides, but having lived in this neighborhood all my life, none of these people were true strangers.
If OP and her DH live in Flatbush, their experience might be similar.

How about an asian man who pulls over and offers other asians a ride? A woman who offers only other women a ride? It's 'too bad' for those who want a ride, but not necessarily judge worthy. |
I guess that is true.. I would never expect or want to go into a car with an arab.
But I don't think I would stop at a bus stop with 10 people and see any Jews come on in.
You need somewhere in the middle .
