Please help! Does anybody have any ideas? My 9 month old daughter recently started standing up in her crib. She is also teething quite quicky (b''h she has 8 teeth) and does not stop biting the crib. She has completely ruined the wood on her new, expensive crib!! Sad Anybody have any ideas how to stop this, besides letting her sleep in mine or my dh's bed? thanks

If she is biting the top of the crib than one of those teething guards might help. Good luck!

believe it or not, they don't sell crib rails in Australia, because they collect bacteria?! Any ideas of how to deal with the ruined rail? (she didn't just leave bite marks, she scraped off the wood and it looks terrible!) thanks for your info.

How about putting a towel along the edge and buying plastic zip strips/ties (you can get them at the hardware store for a couple of dollars) and attaching it to the top? That's what I would do. Then ds can chew but not hurt his teeth. Then when you want, cut the ties off and wash towel and do it again.

I believe they're also called cable ties.
