I want to use Annie as a nickname and looking for Hebrew/ Israeli first name that might work...Annaelle, Eliana, and Chana are out. Any other suggestions??

Something that starts with a nun?
Or two names - one that starts with an aleph/ayin, one with a nun. (Thinking of ayin names, maybe Adina would do the job all in one.)

Maybe she's naming after someone but doesn't want her daughter's official name to be Annie.

OP loved her Granny Annie who either didn't have a Jewish name or had one that isn't usable or palatable to the OP.

I know this is an old thread but I'd love to know what OP chose in the end. I'm making the same decision and landing towards Anina (Aramaic for answer my prayer).
