How can I wash my own (shabbos) shaitel and style it into a side part? It has always had a middle part.
Can I just part it with a comb on the side while its wet, let it air dry, then use a curling iron to make curls (I am bad with a blow dryer).
Any help MUCHO appreciated. thanks!

Super easy trick I learned. Style the sheitel the way you want to part to fall, and put in a few bobby pins to mark it. Take off your shietel and hold it over the sink (on or off the stand, whatever is easiest.)
Take a tea kettle, and with the water just hot but not boiling, pour it slowly over the part. Then let it cool. The heat will set everything perfectly, and the hairs will lay down with a very natural look.
Make sure to take out the bobby pins as soon as you put the sheitel back on the stand to cool, because you don't want pin marks to set in the hair.
