my 10.5 month old seems to sleep alot...he sleeps from about 10:30 am-1pm then agail from 3:30-4:30pm then goes to sleep for the night about 8:30 and wakes up anywhere between 8 and 9 am.....is this normal for this age or should I start pushing his am nap to be more like 11:30-2 and thats it or let him keep to the times he is currently napping...

Let him sleep. Some kids need more sleep than others

At that age mine had 1 nap, maybe 2-3 hours a day MAX

That's perfectly right for that age. After 1yr, babies eventually move to taking one nap a day.

My dd napped like that. She was a mess of her schedule was changed or she missed a nap. I was grateful, but always a tiny bit worried too. She stopped napping at 3 yrs old but sleeps 12-13 hrs a night and is always the first to tire on a busy day. Guess it's just her nature.

My baby is also 10.5 months and naps twice a day for about an hour each.
I wouldn't worry though. Enjoy it!!
